anything ,good or bad, about them? Possibly A good security against
theft for the Spit.<

I don't have personal experience but the idea sonds good, and the battree
has a self cut off if you leave something one. BUT, one posible caution. If
you put a new stereo in your car that requires battery supply to remember
station presets then each time you turn the thing back on you'll have to
reset the stations.

If you get one for " A good security against theft for the Spit" then also
get hood (oops bonnet) locks. When I had my Spit yarns ago I put locking
pins on the bonnet and one night after work (second shift) I got in the car
and left work . The next night at work I found out I was the only one who
did drive home. Some one or group had stolen all the batteries from the
other cars. so if they want your Spit they can pop out the 'bad' battery
and put in one they can use. just like you would if you had a dead
battery.....
