since the wires come out of the side of the unit in the back, clock
position refers to where the wire connectors are located with respect
to the mounting 'wings'.  as for the fan and pulley, the GM unit i
bought had them already installed and the pulley has the same belt
width as the lucas unit.  what you'll have to do, though, is get
another belt that is longer than the standard one.
