Hi Rob,
I am looking at the Repair Operation Manual. It says there is a little more to
it than you describe. Before you can remove the rear extension, you have to
remove the reverse switch, clutch housing, clutch lever, speedo drive pinion,
driving flange, gearbox cover, move selector in reverse gear position, then
remove the extension. There are a few tricks in between so it is worthwhile to
get a manual so you know how to do it.
I 'll be tackling mine this weekend so I'll be an "expert" soon. NOT!
