I installed 6" rims with 205x70 tires on my 1500 spit. The rear is just
great and I like the way it "fills" the wheel well. The front, however, is
a different matter. For one, the tires extend beyond the "skirt" of the
fender - which I don't particularly care for the look of. Secondly, I only
have about an inch or so clearance, causing a rub when the weight shifts
forward.
Since I don't really want to modify the body, what are the tire options for
the front - keeping the 6" rims?
