Need more Information. What is the offset OR the
backspace of the rims and what is the rim diameter?
13, 14, 15?
I have a chart that shows 205/60R13's as being too
large for a Spitfire without some modification (such
as adding offset to the rim size).
This is because the sectional width (The tire bulge)
is over 8" (note 205 is a 7.75" contact patch). This
will cause the tire to rub on the frame. I didn't even
realize anyone made 205/70R13s.
I have +3" on the rim track on either side of the car
with my 205/40R16's, and I don't rub.
