Phil,
Not a hot climate location( RI) but I did take a few readings with the
verticle
flow system before converting to crossflow. I had dropped a 1275 in a
bugeye
and noticed a good 8 degree change . In otherwords, crossflow vs
downflow using a
1275 was cooler by about 8 degrees. I would expect a greater difference
in a warm weather
climate. Maybe others might know.
