For those interested, at Carlisle a few years ago my stock 1275 Bugeye and my
wifes stock 1275 Midget both beat the pants off the 1500 Midgets and Spitfires 
in
the drag races.
And for the record my wife's Midget beat my Bugeye (she was driving)
I also beat the pants off a Toyota powered Sprite.(he was not too happy about
that)
These cars were dead stock 1275cc engines in both cars at the time.
