Yes. British brakes aren't the same as in my new Ford. As I recall on
the E-type, most of them have 4-wheel disks, but the rear ones are
mounted inboard, near the diff. Which causes them to overheat, glaze,
and lose their effectiveness. (My brother-in-law has a couple of
E-types.)
