Just guessing, but if it took anything like what MG did to fit the 3000cc 6
cyl. in the MGC, you are talking significant suspension and interior sheet
metal modifications. Too detailed to list here, but just go read what was
necessary to fit that engine in the MGB (torsion bar front suspension, tube
shocks, engine bay reconfigured, etc........

AND

it NEVER handled worth a hoot.
