Paul,

Along these lines, I just had a flat due to the glue that a sticker left
behind on a tube. This was a good quality tube installed by a reputable
tire shop. The sticker was removed when the tube was installed, but
whatever was left on the tube eventually caused it to craze crack. The
outline of the sticker was clearly visible and the entire and precise
rectangular area was covered in little tiny cracks. The shop replaced at no
charge of course.

Can steel wheels be in my future?
