When using the spring compressor, make sure the top of the spring is aimed
away from valuables(including people and cats).

As I was removing the springs from the 1098 head, the compressor slipped
and the spring retainer traveled across the garage leaving another battle
wound in the Sprite's right hind-quarter.

Be careful!!

Jason.
