I just sold a bugeye to a fellow who picked it up in
the 6 x 12 open uhaul trailer and there was no way to
anchor the tie downs from the chassis of the car to
something structural on the trailer with out routing
them up and over the light gage steel sheet metal
sides on the trailer. He stretched his tie downs over
the metal sides for a short trip. I would not rely on
that method for a trip from NC to FL
