How about the night an Oregon State Trooper tried to give my dog a speeding
ticket? I was on my way home from an MG function in my RHD Morris, when I got
pulled over on a lonely stretch of back road. Naturally, the cop walked up to
what
he believed was the driver's door, bent down, and looked right into the eyes of
my
90 pound bulldog, who was wearing a motoring cap. Murphy just grinned at him
which, in itself was rather an intimidating sight, and I politely told the cop
that his license was on his collar. He still gave the ticket to me, but I'll bet
he's never forgotton the incident either!
