Hi Spridgeteers,
It's been a while since I've had the chance to check in on any LBC
happenings.
About a year ago I was happily driving around town in my '67 midget, which
ran
due to much help from y'all, when it started making a loud irregular
clanking noise.
I got it home ok and decided to take a look at it later.
.... Well it's later!
(To my credit, I was distracted by a new job, marrying a wonderful woman and
having
a beautiful baby girl.)
Anyway, It's time to fix the midget!! (for my daughter Bridget)
As I said, it's a loud irregular banging/clanking noise that's always there
while the engine is running.
I can't really tell where exactly it's coming from.
It may speed up a little bit as you accelerate, but not much.
I still have plenty of power (for a spridget) and smooth acceleration.
Is this a bad timing chain?
I'm just looking for guesses or troubleshooting advice.

Thanks for any help,
Dave Fox
'67 Midget
