Sprites and midgets did not come with a ground on the rack until the 1500
series. It wasn't for the horn either.
The horn gets its ground from the brackets that mount the rack. Even though
you have the paper to shim the rack in the mounts, the side of the bottom
part of the bracket and the top pinch piece actually touch the rack itself.
When this is all bolted to the cross piece it becomes grounded. With
corrosion it sometimes looses contact.
