Ron,
     Know just what you're talking about.  Did lots of low level airdrop
in C-141 over Desert Center here in California.  One thing you did at
your own peril was to eat before one of these flights.  I always got a
headache trying to read my performance charts as a flight engineer
"flying sideways" on these flights.
