nope... try last few seconds... (my experience)

true, no doubt...

But what can you do?

...play by the same rules... however, I'm usually not willing to get caught
up in the frenzy of winning and pay some of the ridiculous amounts (like
more than you can buy new) for stuff.

I recently lost a bid on an item even though my hogh bod was the same as
the winner's... he bid the same amount 5 seconds before I did, so he won.
"Missed it by that much"
