If you know anyone in the Air Force (or reserves,
Nat'l Guard, etc), check with them - many bases have
auto shops with lifts that you can use with an escort.
At Patrick AFB in Florida, it was something like $8 a
day, all kinds of specialized tools included (wheel
balancing, etc). Things may have changed - security
was finally somewhat decent at Robins AFB this week,
my 1st base trip since Sept. 11.
