Hi all.
My engine stand finally arrived from Harbor Freight. What's the best way to
attach the engine to the stand. The engine bolts are 5/16, and the holes in the
stand arms are much larger - will this present a problem?
I've got the oil pan and flywheel off, and I'm wondering if I should take the
backplate off. I'm planning on changing the main and big-end bearings, more for
preventative maintenance. The engine has about 42,000 miles on it and didn't
make any expensive noises when it was running a few months ago.
