Weelllll, ... I got a great deal on this LCB header from the MG Owner's club
in England, it came with a nice exhaust sytem as well.

Only one problem...the @#%* LCB header won't clear the steering shaft!

I think that this is not an issue with RHD cars in England but it is a Big
deal here!

I have attempted to reshape the center pipe (with a BIG hammer) but it seems
like I am going to have to pound it too flat and it will be constricted at
that point.

If I could bend the entire header a little closer to the engine...
But I can't figure out how to bend it smoothly at the flages. When I try
pushing it hard towards the engine, the rubber motor mounts absorb all the
push.

At this point, I am out of ideas and it is looking like I am going to have
to eat this header and buy one from who? APT?

Any ideas appreciated...
