Quickest easiest way is to jack up the car real high, remove the trunion 
bolt, fold down the A frame to the floor, stick your foot against the 
car's frame and pull the spring out by hand.
going back in is just as easy, just give it a kick with your foot.
I have done this many times, once the trunion is off the pin and the A 
frame is all the way down, there is no pressure on the spring. Just 
getting it over the spring perch is why you need to tug a bit.
