I have entertained a similar idea in that I wired an LED third brake
light on the top of the roll bar in my Bugeye. Not the prettiest thing,
but functional and may save my bacon one day. I have been thankfully
blessed so far and not had any rear enders, or close encounters with
SUV's driven by oblivions, like Jim has had. A bright orange flag on a
fiberglass whip pole like they have occasionally on 4-wheelers might be
good too! ; )
