It takes no more/less eye/head movement to glance for the radio knob 
than it does to look in the rear or side view mirrors. The don't have 
mirrors on the steering wheel. And if you drive the car enough, you can 
pretty much find the radio in the dark. Though I admit there are some 
that use the radio more than they do a mirror.
