I don't think you can say with certainty without inspecting it to see if it
was stamped, or welded in. The Healey's did all sorts of prototyping, and
very often, the stuff got sold to some dealer they had a personal
relationship with.

Books aren't the "end all" when it comes to truth. In fact, Geoff was quite
pissed off at the various inaccuracies that made it to print, because people
assumed if they read it in a book, it was true.

IF it were the REAL DEAL, it would have been mentioned in a book,
somewhere. The 2 or 3 prototypes with the new nose on the Bugeye body
were mentioned. Why not this one?
