What brand of generator is it? Run it with some kind of load, like plug several drop lights into one outlet. Use the volt meter on the other outlet and make sure it is putting out around 120V. The thing should run at 3600 RPM, standard for generator motors. 4kw is enough to drive a TV and a small refrigerator, maybe, but not a furnace fan. |
