I've never been comfortable with cars from other dealerships for that very
reason.
For some reason, (well I know the reason. It is because they are driving a car
they don't own.) lot boys and dealer personnel drive new cars recklessly
My '10 Cooper was delivered with 8 miles. I was never so relieved.

I bought the car locally. This local dealer did not have the exact model
(coupe, 5speed) so he had one sent up from San Diego (125 miles). I'm
guessing the lot boy drove it up like a rental car, all out. The right rear
speaker was blown out to boot when it arrived. Must have been having a
great time screaming up from San Diego with the radio blasting. I don't
think the rings seated correctly since then.
