I was just talking to a respected engine machine shop about a new motor for
the tiger.
He said I could buy one of the crate 5 liter motors and put the 260 front
dress and oil pan and nobody but an expert could detect the change.
We did not discuss details about which timing chain goes with which block.
This was just a first step talk about options meeting.  I heard nothing that
would make me think you cannot do what you want.
The one tough thing is if you want roller rocker arms AND the stock valve
covers.  This requires two gaskets or a spacer to get clearance.
