Hi Stu,
 
I own a mid-year Vette (1966 Big Block Convertible) and my opinion is to  
leave fiberglass repair and replacement to professionals who are experienced  
with fiberglass. There are very few individuals left who know how to deal with  
fiberglass and make it look good.
