Better yet, I quote from the back of my Alpine sales brochure (the part 
number for the brochure is 1/85/40) for my long gone Series V, that I 
have in my hands right now, under "Color Schemes":

"All soft tops are Black. Hard tops are available in matching body 
colors as an optional extra"

Is that specific enough?
