I've owned Alpines & Tigers since new and I have an extensive collection of 
factory literature which indeed shows the optional hardtops only available in 
black or white.  My literature also shows that as per Steve Sage, that you 
could order the hardtop in body color if you ordered your vehicle from the 
factory 
or if you had a GT style Alpine or Tiger.
