The tiger actually has an attachment point for the three point harness. It
is on the rear wheel well. Easiest way to find the attachment point is to
look from the outside there should be a plastic plug (to protect the
threads) about two third the way up and middle of the rear wheel well.
Unscrew the plug and poke a sharp object through and you will have the
location from the inside.

Tim,
My car came with the "no seat belt" option and I have been going round and
round thinking of what to do and how to address this issue if I want my wife
to go for a ride.

Lap belts are just so they can find the body, my face is still going to hit
the wheel and the passenger will be without a spleen.
Three point belts and\or harness needs a rollbar or ?? to attach to. I'm not
racing the car, just going for a Sunday drive.

So when you say safety, I'm thinking seat belts. But maybe you put in an
ejector seat with a parachute?

What safety mods are you talking about? What are some options for me that
maybe I have not thought about?

Thanks in advance! :-)
D

Sandy
It's your car do what you will.
I have waited a long time for a Tiger and finally bought one, for me a stock
resto with a few unseen mods for safety is what I want to do. Some purest
would say this is not a stock resto, but I want to drive my Tiger not
trailer it around, so the safety mods are a must.
We all love our Tigers and want to preserve them, some want more stock then
others, but the main idea is to account for as many Tigers as possible and
keep them on the road.
