see response to #2. Also, while their are some folks who simply never
learned and/or never wanted to learn how to drive a manual transmission,
there are also folks who can't for various reasons. Why exclude them from
the fun of a Corvette, Porsche, Miata, MGC, E-type....?

Period fun. About as truly useful now as is a 1950 Wurlitzer or Rock-ola
jukebox, but still fun to have around.
