Fred,

This is why I have two fuel filters in my fuel line. One at the tank and
one just in front of the fuel pump.  I have even considered putting one
just in front of the carbs.  I'd rather be safe than have a carb trying
to suck up rust particles.

 But, as far as stu is concerned,  why not blow the rust out of the fuel
tank and lines?  Instead of back into them?  Inquiring minds want to
know.
