I finally got the headers and exhaust pipes together on my
spitfire. Now I need to close off the connection for the EGR valve.
On The Factory manifolds there is a hole with normal pipe threads which
the EGR valve screws into. On these headers there is a 3/4" dia. hole
with very fine threads. 24 T.P.I. to be exact, I used a thread gage
to measure them. This is also the same threads as used on the "exit"
side of the EGR valve (that has the Tubing connection). What I am
wondering what type of pipe would screw into this connection. I would
rather not use just crimp and then weld up the tube from the old EGR
valve.
