Hello all new to the list but look foward to it everyday. I have a
question that im sure someone can answer. First of all i think my air
horn motor is shot, the ralay stuck the other day and stayed on for 60
to 90 seconds. i pulled it apart last night and cleaned all the crud out
of it but it still doesnt work. the armature doesnt spin freely-- any
ideas?
the real question is about the original horns. they only buzz quietly,
are they shot, full of dirt, worth the effort?

the question i have about vin numbers is just curiosity and not bragging
about low numbers. my car is a 73 CF331U. guess im just wondering if and
where there are any lower numbered cars still on the road. (from the CF
prefix). I've owned this car since the fall of '89. it was originally
bought in Milwaukee, WI. somehow it wound up in Annandale, VA where i
bought it. It now resides in Harrisonburg, va. Was a dark blue when i
got it and has since been repainted to the original French Blue. It's my
daily driver most of the time. also has factory hard top.

sorry for being so long winded thanks for listening. aww heck you know
how it is when you find someone to talk to about your car

later guys and thanks

gary
