Wow more than one unexpected answer, I'm real excited!

The output of the EGOs (one for each exhaust pipe) is displayed on two 10
segment
LEDs on the dashboard. I have adjusted the dashpots and deccel. valve so
that the 
car runs rich under when you either mash on or get off the accelerator. At
cruse
the car runs lean above 2500 rpm.

The carbs have been modified based on the description in the 6-tech
publication
to accept adjustable jets from a early Stromberg carb. As a result I can set
the jet to any level (including on the floor of the garage which I've done
once
or twice).

Needles are nice an straight, however, they are too thick toward the tips.
As a
result the car is running lean at higher rpm.

The needle is designed to rub against the jet. But regardless I have new
jets and
needles!
