Instead of tuning the car up myself, for once I'd like to take it to my
local service station and have them set idle speed, mixture and timing with
reference to their tune up computer. That way, I think I could get
feedback on correct mixture and timing, choosing the settings that are
optimum for 92 octane gas, pollution, power and fuel efficiency.
Anyone have experience with this approach? Is there something I have
overlooked or do not understand that would prohibit this approach?
