When I bought my 71 GT6 MKIII new the saleman told
me there would be no change for 72 but there were
changes as minor as they were. One was the addition
of the SCCA medallion. They also change the rear
bumper. The Spitefire if I remember correctly had the
medallion starting with the MKVI in 71. I'am pretty
sure only North American cars had them.
