I have a Moss "quick rack" in my spitfire. It has really transformed the
handling.A 90 degree turn is made turning the wheel 1/4 turn! Great for
autox.I called Moss USA and after being on hold five minutes, was quoted
a price of $450.
When I mentioned that Moss UK had the rack at around 130 pounds they
sugested I order from England. The total with shipping came to around
$250.The set up came with a pair of alloy mounts. These are different
from the typical ones I`ve seen. They are designed to raise the rack a
good inch above the normal spot on the frame. In my case, with my car
lowered quite a bit ,this has helped correct the steering geometry.
I don`t notice a much heavier feel and would highly recomend this to
anyone.I believe that Moss markets this same rack to all Spit,GT6,TR 4
and tr6.Although maybe the ratio is different?
