The new (Motorcraft) rear main seal for my 84 ranger came with one on these
in the box. I CAREFULLY drove it on using a "correctly sized socket" I
seem to remember it drove on pretty easily (has been a year ago) FWIW, it
fixed my constantly leaking rear main.
