Thanks,

Good info....

The vibration of the top against the bows at top speed can be
really annoying. When I redid my hood sticks I scrapped off the
remaining stuff of the almost gone "fuzzy strip" on the top of
the bows and renewed it with the fuzzy side of a beige Velcro
kit. That stopped the noise completely. Made the car much more
enjoyable on the thruway runs to events last summer.

I'll copy the list... your info would helpful to others.

Brian, two other things.

1) You will probably have to cut down the piece which wraps
around the center
bow and keep the top from rising at speed. I currently have two
tops, one of
which is an original (bought it in '72 from a TR dealer to
replace my own
original) and the other is the Robbins (with a beige interior
BTW - rather
than black - which was the original color) from TRF. When I
installed the
Robbins in '94 I found that the top really ballooned up at speed.
After
comparing it to the original I determined to cut the wrap-around
and
reposition the snaps. Voila -- no further problem.

2) Be sure to position the two longer male portions of the "Lift
the Dot"
snaps in the proper positions on the rear surround. Cheers.
