distributor/tach help

Dear Listers:

I am trying to connect my tachometer cable to the distributor (after the 
rebuild)...but it does not quite reach.  The timing is set, but the part of the 
distributor where the tack cable goes needs to be rotated in a bit for it to 
work. It is now facing a quater turn away requiring the tach cable to have to 
make a right turn to reach it.  Is there a way to do rotate the receptacle so 
that the tach cable has a straight shot to connect?
