Fred Thomas's recent mathematics -- summarized, "$2K front end + paint/body $5K
+ .... = $20K; nice restored car = $10K" -- reminded me of a question I've meant
to ask.
How much should my '62 TR4 full engine rebuild cost? Parts/labor?
So far, I've followed Fred's math, and should be at about $10K *after* the
engine rebuild, starting with a very nice original car -- provided I don't go
over $5K on the engine. Since I need to establish expectations AFA the family
budget goes, a couple good floor and ceiling numbers would be of value. TIA.
