    can't help with your oil cooler line question, but i'm a damn expert on
your wiring for your oil pressure switch! the correct connection is as
follows (for a '76 anyway)....

white w/ brown stripe on the center connection
white w/ purple stripe to the right of center
black to the left of center connection

    geez, things are getting scary when i can offer assistance!
