I thought about this idea, but when I talked to the original/previous owner, 
she swore the car was completely original, including what was left of the air 
(it had been parked for a while).  She had quit driving the car due to carb 
trouble.  If what I have to refer to is correct, the numbers for 1500's is 
supposed to start at FM1UE, but the numbers on mine are FK26870UE, which 
really has me scratching my head.  What I'll do later this week is measure 
the bores again (I already know they are .020 over) and check the stroke just 
to absolutely make sure of the displacement.
