Here's the numbers/brands I use for my '70 Spit Mk3 1296cc:
Oil filter: Fram PH16
Engine Oil: SAE 10W50 or 10W40 Castrol Syntac 20w-50
Fuel filter: ordered from VB
Points and Condenser: delco parts - don't forget the rotor & cap - can get
over the counter from a NAPA store
Spark Plug: Champion N9Y - YES
Spark Plug Cables: >> still look good - about 2 years old
