Jim; Checked my 66 TR4A and it has the rubber plug at each forward outboard
corner of the floor boards. Unlikely it serves any purpose other than during
manufacture, as the carpet pad and carpet cover it. Perhaps for draining
after a cleaning process in the paint shop at Coventry.
