Barry and Andy have hit the various GT6 issues on the head, but while it is true
you can't throw a GT6 around like a Spitfire -- the heavy nose wants to dominate
the arse, in essence -- I still think it's a better handling car than a big TR.
Being smaller and lower to the road, as it were. Watch for rust inside the
front
of the bonnet. As for resale values, these are typically low by comparison to
other models in the marque (the top no-go down), but as Barry rightly points
out,
a good looking GT6 gets loads of attention ... because it has great lines, and
people look at it, stammer a bit, and usually say "That's a Spitfire, right
...?"
