it goes out when the key is turned to aux position. its not the switch
itself
cause i replaced it and it still operates the opposite. 1971 gt6. it has
been
working correctly, i was under the steering column pushing together
connections in the flasher system...got that working when this happens. any

Geo, I would hazard a guess that either the alternator connections are
wrong or that you have a faulty diode pack in the alternator.
