Hello List,
OK, here is the deal. I have a TR4A which has a excellent TR-250 frame under
it. The suspension and brakes have been rebuilt by the previous owner.
It currently has a TR4A engine in it which can't run a stock fan since the
steering rack is in the TR-250 position right under the end of the long bolt
at the end of the crankshaft.
Should I (a) sell/trade the TR4A engine/transmission for a 6-cylinder TR6
motor, or (b) install a electric fan and try to fit some kind of vibration
dampener on the end of the crankshaft.
I am not in the least bit concerned about having a hybrid either way.
If I decide to go the 6-cylinder route, do I need to upgrade anything else?
I know the TR-250 has boosted brakes and probably stiffer front springs.
Does anybody out there have either a nice TR4A frame or a TR6
engine/transmission/dare I hope overdrive?)

Thanks,
Dave Connitt
